Phillip is an Operating Partner at Kain Capital bringing extensive health insurance and managed care experience. He has held executive level finance positions on the payer side including Market CFO, Regional CFO and VP of Finance supporting employer based and government program products. Prior to joining Kain, Phillip was the Health Plan CEO for Medicare Advantage NY & NJ at United Healthcare. He has developed and executed upon growth strategies leading turn arounds in both Medicare and Medicaid health plans. Phillip successfully transitioned health plan membership into value-based contracts including risk and shared risk deals delivering improved clinical outcomes and provider quality.
